I am a hobby breeder. The parents are my pets and their safety always comes first!
Puppies are handled from day one and go through the early neurological process. This is a process still used by the military to help dogs better cope with stressful situations and thus giving them the greatest possible start to success
Bear is a blue merle, purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd. She weighs 19lbs. Her parents are medium to high drive. Bear has a sweet and quiet disposition and possesses a strong willingness to please.
Freya is a tri blue merle, purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd. She weighs 28lbs. Her parents are low to medium drive and she is a carrier of the blue eyes gene. Freya loves to play frisbee, but is also content to relax in the house.
Iris is one of Freya and Rolex's puppies from their litter in 2022. She is low drive and is an absolute doll with her sweet disposition. She has a more bulky build like her momma and weighs 22 lbs.
Rolex is a red tri, purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd who weighs 22lbs. He is low drive and a total love-a-duck. He is ASDR registered, has blue eyes, and has been health checked. He is a carrier of the yellow gene and has thrown yellow Aussies.
Rasmus is a red merle, purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd who weighs 35lbs. He is low to medium drive and loves to play fetch... in spurts, taking breaks to lay in the shade, lol. He is ASDR registered and has blue eyes. He will be added to the breeding program in 2024.
I put a lot of time and take a lot of pride in the puppies I raise. My goal is to produce awesome family pets who are ready to take on the world with you!
The biggest socialization window for puppies is from 3-12 weeks (majority of this time they are still with their mom and the breeder). Having a background in animal behavior I know how impactful the experienced puppies face during this time are in their development and future lives. Therefore I take my role in these puppies lives very seriously! How do I aid their growth and confidence during this time?
First, I do neurological stimulation on all my puppies. A process both widely used in the military and with service dog to teach them how to cope with stress as well as create other health benefits. This stimulation starts at just one week old and is repeated everyday until they are three weeks old.
Next, we do a lot of socialization and have a lot of new experiences early on to help them gain confidence. We go outside and play in the grass, get introduced to water, meet and socialize with my other dogs, cats, and kids.
